Laura has joined Selborne as a third six month pupil, having completed her pupillage at Wilberforce Chambers. In pupillage Laura gained experience in Selborne’s core disciplines.
A talented scholar, Laura has a First Class Honours degree in International Relations and Politics and she attained a First Class honours Graduate LLB. In 2016 she obtained an LLM from the University College London. She is a recipient of the Hardwicke Entrance Award from Lincoln’s Inn.
A former President of the UEA Debating Society, while studying her LLM she was selected to represent UCL in the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot 2016 in Vienna and Hong Kong.
Outside legal practice, Laura has gained experience of local government, serving a 4 years term as an elected councillor to South Norfolk District Council, where she sat as a substitute member on the Planning Committee.
